Olentangy Adventure

So this week I had my first experience teaching students as the History Day Intern for the Ohio Historical Society. I started off the day with a pleasant drive to Olentangy. It’s incredible how completely different Ohio looks just 20 minutes down the road. The long street was lined with windy trees and beautiful houses.

At the school I worked with the Middle School classes to develop their thesis statements for their projects. It was a blast and I can’t wait to go back to work with them some more! One of the unexpected pluses of this internship is that it really gives me the opportunity to see and understand parts of Ohio that I never would have heard of otherwise!

  1. Drive through beer stores are ever popular up there – I know of more than a few in PA and even one in Fl! Love that you are getting out and seeing more. Looking forward to more posts 🙂
