I recently started working at the Ohio Historical Society as the History Day Intern and had my first day in the office earlier this week. I am absolutely loving it. I have lots of projects to work on and spent my day on Tuesday learning historical facts and writing up a blog post of research and presentation tips. This is the dream life of a history geek.

To get to the bathroom I had to walk by this guy… holy cannoli. Can you say dream come true or what? I feel like I’m in “Night at the Museum.”

And one of the best parts is that I’ll be learning a lot about Ohio history in particular as I get together a list of ideas for next years topic. What could be better for this Massachusetts girl than some mind-opening mid-western culture?
