Aloha Tower, once the highest tower in Honolulu, offers breathtaking views of Honolulu Harbor and the cities of Honolulu and Waikiki. The elevator ride up is free and easy after a quick bag check by a security guard who stands near by. On top of the tower are four look-out decks where you get a full 360-degree view of the beauty all around you! This is a must-see if you’re on Oahu. Feel the sun and windy breezes atop this historic tower.
- There is a bathroom at the top of the tower if you are traveling with children or just over-hydrated for the day!
- The tower is in the midst of Aloha Tower Marketplace, a generally not-crowded area where you can browse some great shops!
- Parking costs $3 for the first hour and a little more after that, but Oahu has a fabulous bus system and the bus will drop you right by the marketplace. Look up the directions on googlemaps and select “public transportation” by clicking on the bus symbol to find the right route for you.
