Before I ship out to Nepal, I’ve gotten the chance to do some of my favorite things in my favorite city!
Sailing Boston Harbor on Father’s Day on our boat, The Blue Angel
Watching the Bruins games in the Stanley Cup Finals (I hope they win the cup before I leave!!) and spotting Bruins paraphernalia all over the city.
And seeing a great game at Fenway Park (it was a beautiful day until it started POURING halfway through)!
Tip for my gluten-free brothers and sisters, in Section D of Fenway Park there is a gluten-free cart with Udi’s Gluten-Free Hot Dog Buns, gf cookies, gf brownies, and across the way there is gluten-free beer!
It’s been real Boston.
photo credit for some of these pictures goes to Lori Vinciguerra (a.k.a. mom), she’s got a blog now too if you want to check it out!
These are great pictures of Fenway! You can never get pictures with it looking so empty!
Have fun in Nepal (hope I get there soon)! I’m heading up to Boston in two weeks. Still need to make my list of things to do and eat.
Thanks Matt! I’m glad to hear you’re coming to Boston soon. My absolute favorite restaurant in Boston is Nebo (they just got a new location on the waterfront) and have absolutely delicious, authentic Italian food if you have a chance to swing it. As for things to do, make sure you spend some time around the North End, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market–that area is beautiful, you can see the Old North Church and Paul Revere’s house and get a Sam Adams in the city it’s brewed in (I think there are even brewery tours if that floats your boat).
Enjoy your trip!! Thanks for stopping by =)
